Ruston LA Bridal Portraits | Jessica

I’ve known this gorgeous girl since she was probably around 8.  I had the honor of taking her bridal portraits one weekend in Louisiana and I couldn’t be more proud of how they turned out.  Jess, you have grown into a beautiful woman and I am blessed to call you family!  Thanks for including me in your big day with Grant!  Love you!

Now, without further ado…check out Jessica’s bridals!

Olde Dobbin Station Wedding | Richard + Emily

This love story was told so many different ways the night of their wedding.  I believe, if I have my math correct, it was told 12 times…but each story was different.  It was like each story was a puzzle piece and if you put them all together you got Richard + Emily’s love story.  They started dating while in college…she was an Aggie, he was a Red Raider.  They fell in love, she moved to Lubbock and became a Red Raider, too!  He’s funny, she’s witty and smart…they make the perfect pair.  I could have listened to their friends and family talk about them all night.  It was the longest yet sweetest round of toasts I have ever witnessed:)

Richard + Emily, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special day at Old Dobbin Station!  I feel like I am part of the family and totally in with your crew.:) I had a great time!

Olde Dobbin Station Bridals | Emily

Emily is finally Mrs. Messer so I can finally post her bridal session!  This has been one of my favorite wedding gowns!  The top layer of the skirt comes off to reewal this gorgeous form fitting gown that looks amazing on Emily!  Of course Olde Dobbin Station made for the perfect back drop!  Be on the lookout for her’s and Richard’s wedding post coming soon!

Montgomery TX Engagements : Brad + Kelli

“She stood in the storm, + when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails.” -Elizabeth Edwards

I have searched for the words to describe how beautiful this love story is and I keep coming up short.  Kelli lost her first husband to a motorcycle accident, and some, how years later, Brad came along and as much as Kelli tried to push him away…he stayed.  Eventually, Kelli let this gentle giant in and they fell in love.  He proposed in February and they will be saying “I do!” in April at Hodge Podge Lodge!  I am beyond honored to document this love story!

Shonda - Amazing! The love they have for one another is truly captured in these photographs. I’ve known Kelli for about 10 years or so, and I’m so happy she found Brad!! She means a lot to me, and it’s so good to see her smile again :)

Olde Dobbin Station Wedding : Daniel + Stephanie

To quote Stephanie, “It takes a special kind of person to want to make someone else happy on a day that is supposed to be about them.” and that is just who Daniel is and he proved it on the day he proposed to Stephanie…his birthday.  They started dating on April 25th, 2008 and 7 years later to the day, they united as husband and wife under the eyes of God and their families.  The day was full of laughter, tears and fun.

Daniel + Stephanie, thank you so much for welcoming me into your lives.  My life is sweeter because you are in it and it was an honor to be there to document your love for each other.  To be surrounding by your family and friends, who also welcomed me with open arms was beyond amazing.  I am blessed to now call you my friends.  :) With much love and appreciation, I thank you for everything.

The wedding and reception was held at the gorgeous Olde Dobbin Station wedding venue.

Stephanie wore a stunning Justin Alexander Signature wedding gown that fit her like a glove!

The jacket that she wore for the ceremony gave her gown a completely different look and it was one of my favorite details.

Daniel bought the dress for Stephanie and she was so nervous for him to see it for the first time…I think it’s safe to say he loved it and told her how beautiful she looked in it.

Stephanie did a first look with her parents and the emotions that filled the room was almost too much for me to handle…ok, I cried.  I cried right along with them.

This is one of my favorite moments.  Stephanie is a daddy’s girl and it is so evident here.

Their ceremony was full of so many traditions for them and even though I had no idea what was being said, as it was all in Spanish, you could feel how meaningful it all was and the love that was in that building was amazing.

I have never in my life been to a wedding where they partied this hard!  While, this picture looks fun and cool…my heart was in my stomach!  I was so afraid they were going to drop him, but they didn’t and eventually my heart returned to normal.
